Spencer Jo crafts heartfelt anthems for the people. A punk rocker turned troubadour, they keep the spirit of community alive with a guitar on their back and miles to go before they sleep.

The Water (May 29, 2024) charted for nineteen weeks across the country, hitting #1 locally and #5 nationally. The album was recorded and mixed by Pat Palardy and mastered by Jeff Kynoch. It features Francesca Mirai of Ghostly Hounds, Sarinn Blawatt of Alien Boys, and Sarah Hamilton of Happy Trails, Prospector. 

The record was released by Moments Fest Records (Siksika Nation), Sawdust Records (Pender Island, BC), and Meter Records (Calgary, AB). 

The project received production funding from Calgary Arts Development. Take Aim Media signed on for publicity. Alberta Music funded the first Europe tour in August 2024.

Alberta Foundation for the Arts funded the 2025 spring and summer touring season.Spencer Jo has travelled the far and wide— solo and in punk bands. 

A founding member of Quit It!, Spencer stays connected to vibrant and collaborative communities. Quit It! released an album in October 2025 and will tour it into 2026 and beyond.Spencer Jo has been touring and releasing music since 2007.
